Phil Ivey’s Monday night at FullTilt online was bad to say the least, with the infamous pro player losing copious amounts in a few monster pots. Ivey lost most of his money in two gigantic pots during a game of Omaha against online the online legend that is the Finnish Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, the pair were playing heads up in a $500/$1000 blinds cash game. The table that the players were playing at was actually Ivey’s own table that he created under the name of “Ivey Thunderdome,” but it seems that playing on home turf served as no advantage to Ivey. The No-Limit action really heated up last night on Full Tilt with 4-5 players all in on the $500-$1000 No-Limit game incuding the likes of Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, both repsected poker pros. This is the highest limit offering on Full Tilt and also features a $30,000 CAP, meaning the players cannot each bet more than $30K per hand, which actually limits this game somewhat. The big winner of the table was David Benyamine who amassed a chip count of $305,856.95 (Yes this is real money people). Because of the CAP there was tons of all ins and as always, the rail was alive with observers and hecklers. One particularly odd player named Im2Fast would keep coming to the table and professing how good he was to all the players, but would never actually sit in and play…..can you say scared. Anyways all in all it was a great game to watch and finally broke near 5am this morning. Below are a few select screenshots from the action: Read the rest of this entry »
