Through all the problems that have taken place over the last few months regarding NETeller and US customers, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel for the players with seized funds. It has been expected for some time that NETeller would be paying out the seized funds fairly soon, but now the wheels are in motion and a definite date has been set.

Players will be able to access their NETeller accounts and withdraw their remaining funds from July 30th 2007, and there will be no fee for this service. Players will receive an email informing them of this so that any players that are currently unaware of the situation can be notified that their money is available to be withdrawn. Customers are also being warned about scams that may try to take advantage of this situation, so be wary about giving out any details to unknown companies or replying to unfamiliar e-mail addresses. If you are unsure about what to do at anytime, you should contact support at NETeller who should be happy to assist you.

This is the distribution plan as described on the CardPlayer website:

“Please note that at the launch of the distribution plan, the NETELLER website will be extremely busy and may respond slowly when you browse to it. Please be patient and if you cannot log in, please try again a few hours later.

NETELLER will start the process for the distribution of U.S. member funds by 30 July 2007.

U.S. members will be notified by email when the process starts.

U.S. members should also check this site for updates.

NETELLER will issue an email to U.S. members to announce when they can begin requesting funds.

U.S. members must sign in to their NETELLER accounts to request the release of their funds.

U.S. members will not be able to request funds from the NETELLER website after January 26, 2008.

Funds will be delivered by electronic transfer to the bank account on record with NETELLER or by cheque to the member’s mailing address.

NETELLER will not charge withdrawal fees.

As NETELLER is returning $94 million to hundreds of thousands of US customers, it will take some time for all payments to be processed.

Please be careful of any phishing scams. Only log in to the neteller.com website to request the return of funds. Remember it must have neteller.com as the top level domain using the https security protocol — nothing else.”

This is great news for online poker players, as now they are able to retrieve all of their seized money and continue playing poker with a fuller bankroll. Now NETeller will be able to focus more on foreign markets and develop to provide a better service for customers outside of the US.
