I came across a thread today over at the 2+2 forums where members where speculating on the account balances of some of the frequent players at the rooms. I think this is an interesting topic, as alot of us have seen there have been times when these pros have bought in for several hundred thousand dollars if not more, so you’ve got to wonder how much coin they really do keep in their online poker accounts. After some argument back and forth, the general consensus based on play and speculation yielded the following numbers as estimates for the pros online bankrolls:

Phil Ivey: $1.5 Million
Sbrugby: $1-$1.5 Million
Benyamine: $1.5 Million
Matusow: $0 - ($300,000) obv. (This one was the funniest)

If you want to read the thread here is the link and feel free to chime in and submit your guesses as to the pros online bankrolls on Full Tilt.

Editors Note: Call me crazy, but I do not care if I was a billionaire I would never leave $1 Million dollars entrusted to an online poker room, it just doesn’t seem right. It would seem much smarter to me to keep it invested and whenever I needed a reload I would take it as I needed it. There are also the obvious security concerns, I don’t care how advanced your security is there could still be that idiot that somehow finds your password and either a. donks off all your chips or b. transfers them to himself. Anyways I guess this is why I am not a high stakes poker pro.
