Absolute poker has been renowned for having some very out-dated table graphics over recent months, but this has all changed since their introduction of a few new table layouts and graphics.

There are now 3 different table layouts for you to choose from on absolute, but don’t worry, they have still kept the old original design if you are used to working with that one! In my opinion however, the two newer designs are far easier on the eye, and are a lot more user friendly as they allow you to keep up with the table action a lot more comfortably than before.

The first table view on offer is a basic design that looks very similar to the standard PokerStars table layout. A round avatar accompanied by their nickname and stack size represents players. However, there are no fancy table graphics to be seen, such as chairs and a backdrop, as you are simply provided with a plain table in the centre to play your virtual cards on. I feel that this type of layout will be more suited to the veteran players that do not want to be distracted by any fancy designs, and do not want anything coming in between themselves and the cards.

The second new design available is similar to the first, but with the addition of a few chairs and a more 3D and involving feel. This is my personal favourite, as it incorporates all the fancy graphics that helps to keep players involved with the game, without making it difficult to keep up with the action at the same time. The camera angle is also tilted slightly more toward the horizontal, to put the player in more of a first-person perspective. This particular layout is comparable to the Ultimate Bet table design, but then this comes as no surprise as both of the rooms are currently linked very closely together.

All of these new layouts are a welcome addition to the Absolute poker room and they should prove to be beneficial to the room, as they should attract players that were once disappointed with the old style that the room provided. However, there is still the option of playing on the old design, so there’s no need worry about having to change over from the table design that you may be well accustomed to!
