New TV Show On Sky

The levels of publicity that the world of poker has received has significantly increased in recent years, with its expansion into mainstream media providing poker on the whole with positive momentum in relation to turning people’s attitudes towards recognizing the game as a sport, in comparison to the stereotypical view held by many that the game of poker is simply gambling and nothing else.

The next step in terms of media interaction between poker and the public audience relates to TV shows. Earlier on this year Sky Poker was initiated as the first real groundbreaking movement with providing the audience with a fully interactive card room and poker channel, pushing the boundaries of entertainment further than ever seen in the poker environment. The situation often arises where a player is to say the least not too happy with the way that their hand has progressed and many players often find it helpful to run through that same hand again, in an attempt to improve their play or simply discover if they could’ve played that hand any better. ‘The Club’ is the perfect method of analysing a previously played hand or situation within the Sky Poker site, the public can watch the show as the hosts run through the hand using hand history from Sky Poker.
