After a long night of day one action the tables were on fire again with day 1B underway in the Fountain Room at the Bellagio. The second day of play featured considerably more famous names than the first, with the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Erick Lindgren, Joe Hachem, Johnny Chan and Mike Matusow all seated on day two.
The end of day 1B found slick pro Sam Farha a top the pack with close to 210,700 in chips. Here is the top five chip leaders from day 1B after the play had stopped:
1. Sam Farha - 210,700
2. Dan Lowe - 198,050
3. Marc Racener - 175,925
4. Tim Phan - 167,300
5. Kim Morrison - 167,075
Surprisingly, Mike Matusow managed to build his stack to within the top ten of the playing field with a respectable 162,275 in chips…..weird I know! The total chip counts for both days still put female player Anna Wroblewski at the lead of the pack with 211,325, so Farha will need to make some moves to claim the first place spot on the leader board.
